A Real Queen Isn't Afraid to Get Her Hands a Little Dirty...

Check out the pictures of my experience volunteering at my local food bank. It was a wonderful experience as I was able to help pack and sort potatoes and other food products for families in need. 

All of the potatoes pictured here were packaged by volunteers and will go to families in need of food.

This is how food donations are processed at the Food Bank. We check the dates and condition of the food to make sure it is safe before distributing it to families.

This banner "Volunteers Make A Difference. Because of you...Someone will be able to eat today!" was hanging in the packaging part of the warehouse and it made my day because it was true. Hunger is a problem in many places, perhaps even your own community, so here is the link if you would like to begin volunteering for a local food bank near you.
